RAMALLAH, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- At his workshop in the Aida refugee camp in the West Bank city of Bethlehem, Palestinian artist Akram Al-Waara creates art pieces by using tear gas canisters.

The 53-year-old artist recycles tear gas canisters that were fired during clashes between Palestinians and the Israeli army and turns them into various artworks to sell in the local markets and for tourists.
