SHIRAZ, Iran, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) -- Iranians visit a statue of Nanjing-born Chinese writer Cao Xueqin, who was author of the novel "Dream of the Red Chamber," one of the four classics of Chinese literature, in Shiraz, southern Iran.
At the same park, a bust of Saadi Shirazi, a famous Persian poet who was born in Shiraz, stands on the other side.
The two sculptures of cultural celebrities attract locals and Chinese tourists to visit.
The cities of Nanjing and Shiraz, both famous for their historical and cultural backgrounds, boast a sister-city relationship.
