HANGHAI, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- Three century-old houses in downtown Shanghai have been moved to a new location 200 meters away as part of an urban development plan.
Each house was reinforced before it was lifted off the ground in its entirety and moved to the designated place. It took 40 days to complete the project.
The houses will then be renovated to preserve their historic features.
