ATHENS, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) -- The Center of Chinese and Greek Ancient Civilizations was inaugurated in the Greek capital of Athens earlier this week.
It aims to promote bilateral exchanges of scholars and students to advance the study of the two civilizations.
A former Greek prime minister says both civilizations will contribute to the building of a more harmonious world.
Greek university professors involved in the establishment of the new institute say it is important for people from different cultures to strengthen exchanges.
