NANNING, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- Two swivel girders of a bridge under construction on the Fangchenggang-Dongxing railway were successfully rotated to their targeted position in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Tuesday.
The two girders, with a combined weight of 12,000 tonnes, synchronously rotated 39 degrees clockwise within 40 minutes.
The bridge is part of a railway linking Fangchenggang City and Dongxing City, which is located on the China-Vietnam border.
