WINDHOEK, Feb. 18 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese medical team in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, carried out one-day free medical checkups in the informal settlement of Havana Thursday.
The team conducted heart monitoring procedures, dental and eye checkups, and observed the general health of the children and youth at the Frans Nambinga Arts and Training Center.
China has sent 14 medical teams in total to Namibia since 1996.
