ANTAKYA, Türkiye, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- Chinese rescue teams have been racing against time to save those trapped under the rubble in Türkiye's earthquake-stricken area.
On Saturday, the fourth day of its mission, the 82-member China Search and Rescue Team resumes the works on the ruins in Antakya, a district of the southern Hatay province, to find more survivors.
The number of people the Chinese team helped rescue hit four when they pulled a woman out of the debris of a building in downtown Antakya on Friday, over 96 hours after the earthquake.
A rescue squad from China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region also arrived in Antakya to contribute to rescue efforts.
On Monday, two deadly tremors with 7.7 and 7.6 magnitudes devastated 10 provinces in the southern part of the country.
According to the latest official announcement, the death toll surged to 20,318, and the number of injuries climbed to 80,088.
Many countries and international aid agencies have deployed rescue teams and relief supplies to the quake-hit region. Together with Turkish search and rescue teams, they work around the clock to find more survivors under the rubble.
