ANKARA, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- International search and rescue teams have rushed to Türkiye to assist in rescue efforts after two massive earthquakes jolted the country Monday.
Among them is the official China Search and Rescue Team.
In Antakya, Hatay, they and Turkish rescuers successfully saved three women from the rubble of collapsed buildings on Thursday through joint operations, during which two bodies of victims were also recovered.
Meanwhile, several Chinese civilian rescue squads, including the Blue Sky Rescue Team, also rushed to help save trapped people.
Eight experts of the Rescue Team of Ramunion from China's Zhejiang arrived in Adana of southern Türkiye on Wednesday to carry out rescue work and provide help to quake-affected victims.
They helped rescue a family of five from the debris in Belen town of Türkiye's southern province of Hatay.
According to the latest data released by authorities and rescuers, the death toll from the devastating earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria has surpassed 21,000.
