BALI, Indonesia, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- Ngerebeg Tradition, which means neutralizing bad characters in the human body and the universe, has been held in Indonesia's Tegallalang village.
Rituals from the tradition are carried out by children and adults covered with various decorations, and follow the procession around the village while carrying penjor decorations made from bark or palm leaves.
This self-painting ritual in Tegalalang village has a deep meaning for the residents, which also implies support for the balance of relations between humans and the universe.
