NAGAON, India, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- In the wake of spring, local beekeepers in Nagaon district of India's northeastern state of Assam are occupied with the production of dense golden honey.
Beekeepers tend to the apiary in the field with an orderly array of white boxes. In their brief hive inspection, the buzzing bees swarm all over the raw honey, which is then scraped from the hive rack and collected in an apiculture setup.
